"The Kitchen Magician Food Glamorizer" by Popeil Brothers of Chicago. The box is, well, not in the best of shape, but the instrument itself looks just fine. Measures approximately 7-1/4" long. $5.00.
Pastel coloured cups, with lids. 3 of the lids are newer, two of them have the "Tupperware Seal" from 1955 (one of both types of lids are depicted.) They have been used a bit, to put it gently, but still look good. Off-white, orange, green, pink and blue. Good. $5.00.
Creamer and sugar set from Tupperware. Push top. Beige with harvest gold. Just about 3-1/2 inches tall x 3-1/2 inches between its widest points. Minor table wear / utensil marks. Good to very good. $7.50.
From Boontonware. Somerset 6524-01 creamer. Some scratches inside, but really looks good. About 3.5 (9 cm) tall. Taupe. Good. $10.00.
Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread Saver from Kraft. 1992. Blue plastic base with clear plastic cover. Very good. $10.00.
"Lucite bagel slicer." Measures approximately 4" x 6" 2-1/2." Very good $5.00.
PromiseŽ Margarine "cookware by Tara." Measures approximately 8" in diameter. Plastic. The following cautions appear on the back: "Do not use without food. Do not use under broiler." Since a) Promise came about sometime in the late 1980's and b) its "get heart smart" campaign ended in late 1996, that would make this item at least 9 years old. ("Margarine Maker to Drop Ads Making Health Claims," by Anthony Faiola. The Washington Post, November 08, 1996.) Very good $12.00.
For those of you into New Jersey political memorabilia, we now present: the Henry Helstoski placemat. Congressman Helstoski served as a Representative from the 9th District from 1965-77. (Thanks to the folks at The Political Graveyard for this information.) Some spots, but overall in good shape. Light Styrofoam backing. There are 3 placemats in all. Artist: E Daly (may be Ernest I Daly," but I really could not say with certainty.) "Not printed at government expense." Seal: "Amalgamated Lithographers. Local 1 of Greater New York. Union since 1882. Label 698." Good. $9.00.
Goldenrod vinyl placemats, with a multicoloured floraled fabric inside. Scalloped edges. Some stains on the underside, a bit of scuffing on a couple of them. Year unbeknowst to us. And there is no label. 4 in all. Good. $5.00.
White vinyl placemats with tiny little multicoloured flowers. Again the year is unbeknownst to us. But these do have a bar code, which indicate a more recent origin, at least mid-1970s, probably early 1980s. A few stains on the underside, but really they look just fine. 4 in all. Good. $5.00.
